A woman and her two daughters were raped and then murdered.This shocked the residents of mushikulu village in kakamega county.according to a neighbour Stephen Barasa,he woke up and discovered that there was blood in the compound leading to Rose makokha’s house and when he entered the house,he found three bodies in that house.The bodies had strange marks near the throat and victims seemed to have been killed in a horrible manner.The village elder Pauline Shikunyi lamented about the killings in the village and the police inability to address the situation.
The residents pointed accusing fingers at a suspect who had attempted to rape the deceased last year but the woman reported the incident to the police leading to his arrest After he was released,he went on and threatened the woman and her daughters.A villager demanded for the arrest because up to now the police have not arrested the suspect and justice must be done to the family of the deceased.The bodies were then moved to Kakamega General mortuary by the police.
